PALS refers to a Faculty Program for Active-Learning in STEM disciplines. This program at Montgomery College creates a 10 to 12 member cohort that works together to:
- develop or reform an activity to be used in their classroom,
- present the activity to the cohort,
- discuss other participants’ activities, and
- debrief after the activity has been implemented.
The program is run by Dr. Kris Lui, Associate Professor of Physics and Coordinator of the Physics and Astronomy disciplines.
